About Stephen R. Brown, MD
Dr. Brown was born and raised in Sioux City Iowa where his family still currently resides. He attended the University of Iowa where he completed his undergraduate studies and received his medical degree. After medical school Dr. Brown went on to complete his residency training in grand Rapids Michigan followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Jack Hughston Clinic in Columbus Georgia.
Dr. Brown has been practicing Orthopedics in Omaha since 1999. Being fellowship trained in sports medicine Dr. Brown focuses his practice on the diagnosis and treatment of knee and shoulder disorders as well as sports-related injuries. He has extensive experience with minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques for knee and shoulder surgery. He also performs knee and shoulder joint replacement surgeries as well.
Dr. Brown is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for 2017.
