About Sarah Goodwin, OTD, OTR/L

Sarah Goodwin was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. She attended Bishop Heelan High School before attending Creighton University for both her undergraduate and graduate schooling. She graduated with her Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Creighton in 2008. Sarah has been an OT in various practice areas for nearly 10 years and has been at Immanuel for almost 6 of those 10 years. Sarah says the best part of working at CHI Health Immanuel is the caring, skillful, and progressive therapists all working together to serve our patients. She also partners with the Creighton University Occupational Therapy program as an instructor.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys sports, having coached high school basketball and/or softball for the past 11 years. She is a diehard Iowa Hawkeye and Creighton fan. Her newest sports endeavor is golfing, which is a work in progress. She also is a foster dog mom for a local animal rescue.
