About Sarah Goodwin, OTD, OTR/L

Sarah Goodwin was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. She attended Bishop Heelan High School before attending Creighton University for both her undergraduate and graduate schooling. She graduated with her Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Creighton in 2008. Sarah has been an OT in various practice areas for 17 years and has been at CHI Health Immanuel for 13 years. Sarah says the best part of working at CHI Health Immanuel is the caring, skillful, and progressive therapists all working together to serve our patients. She also partners with the Creighton University Occupational Therapy program as an instructor.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys sports, having coached high school basketball and/or softball for the past 18 years. She is a diehard Iowa Hawkeye and Creighton fan. She is also an avid golfer, bringing her passion for the sport into the rehab space, working on a golf rehab program to get patient's back on the course after injury or illness. She has a Schnoodle puppy named Daisy.
