About Robert Gilmore, OTD
Bob earned his doctorate of occupational therapy from Creighton University in 2012. Throughout undergraduate and graduate studies Bob enjoyed working the recreational therapy programs at the Monroe-Meyer Institute for children with developmental disabilities. Immediately following school Bob worked as a traveling therapist working with a wide variety of populations in different settings across the country. Bob returned home to Omaha in 2013 to begin working at Creighton University Medical Center and has been here ever since. Bob works primarily as a hand therapist helping patients to recover from upper extremity injuries and ailments. Bob?s treatment generally includes manual techniques focused exercise and custom fabrication of orthotics for the upper extremity. In his free time Bob enjoys being active in Community Theater and playing golf with friends and family.
