About Nancy Pearson, PT

Nancy Pearson graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1993 with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Nancy brings over 25 years of experience in various areas of physical therapy including cardiac rehab, wound care, skilled care, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation. Nancy has been employed as an outpatient physical therapist at Immanuel since 2000 treating a variety of both neurologic and orthopedic diagnoses. She has attended numerous continuing education courses over the span of her career to better serve her patients and achieve excellent outcomes.

Nancy recently helped develop the Osteoporosis Program at Immanuel focused on evaluating and treating patients with bone density scan scores that put them at increased risk for fractures. Treatment includes strengthening and balance exercises, improved body alignment, and using correct body mechanics to decrease strain on the spine.
