About Monica Green-Connell, PT, MSPT, DPT, CMTPT, CSCS
Monica has been practicing physical therapy for over 27 years, specializing in orthopedic conditions with an emphasis in manual therapy. She graduated with her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in 1997. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011. Monica has worked for CHI Health since 2010.
Monica has an advanced certification in dry needling and has taken advanced certification courses in manual therapy. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Monica uses evidenced based therapy to guide her practice, and is very thorough in her evaluations and assessments to find the root causes of pain and dysfunction. She enjoys treating all conditions, but has special interests in sports medicine, low back and neck pain, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, and pain neuroscience education. Monica was a Division I collegiate volleyball player, and elite marathon runner, and continues to enjoy running and participating in sports. She loves spending time outdoors and watching her boys’ sporting activities. Monica lives in Glenwood with her husband Joe, two sons, Gavin and Ian, and their pets.
