About Mandy Leamon, LCSW, LIMHP, LADC

Mandy Leamon LCSW LIMHP LADC received her MSW from UNO 12/2002. She has worked outpatient starting out at Camelot Care doing in-home mental health therapy with children and adolescents in the foster care system and their foster parents. She then worked at Heartland Family services for about 5 years working primarily with adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system. She conducted CD evaluations and engaged patients in group and individual sessions. She then went to Fremont Health outpatient behavioral medicine working with older adults in the Senior Solutions Program which provided group and individual services. She also began working with adult patients with co-occurring and SPMI. She worked at Fremont Health for 6.5 years before transitioning back to Omaha to CHI Health as a behavioral health specialist in November 2016. Mandy is hard of hearing wearing hearing aids since age five. She is a member of the Nebraska Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing mental health committee. She has taken additional classes to learn more about Deaf Culture; however she is not certified in American Sign Language (ASL). She has special interest in LGBT and refugees. She tends to use Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) most often along with CBT/DBT in her work with patients.  

Integrated Behavioral Health Specialists do not accept direct appointments as they are part of the interdisciplinary treatment team and are available for onsite interventions with patients of their specific clinic. Please contact the clinic for more information.
